I certify that I am submitting this Letter of Intent form after:
Completed a minimum of 15 credit hours post-high school at the community college selected below and submitted this letter of intent no later than February 1 for the following fall semester entry and no later than September 1 for the following spring semester entry.
Currently maintaining a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.4 in all courses applicable to an eligible transfer degree program and remaining continuously enrolled over the fall & spring semesters.
Understanding I will be required to complete a transferrable associate degree, with
at least
45 of the credits being earned at the VCCS Institution, post-high school, to qualify for guaranteed admission, and enroll at W&M within one year of completing my associate degree.
Understanding that this letter of intent is not my official application to the college and I will still be required to submit and meet all items on William & Mary's

Once the Letter of Intent is received, the Transfer Dean of Admission will send out a confirmation email and evaluation of the transcript within 6 weeks (except during the months of March, April, October & November when all evaluations are paused due to the Common Application review periods and may take up to 12 weeks to receive an evaluation if received in these months).
After submitting the Letter of Intent, students must remain continuously enrolled at their institution (VCCS or RBC) in all semesters (not including summer) until receipt of the associate degree. If approved for admission, students must enroll within one year of the associate degree to qualify for guaranteed admission.
